The Webinar will feature a presentation and discussion on LTE Advanced: Enabling Features by Anand Alexander, Senior Consultant, Etisalat Academy.

LTE-Advanced championed by 3GPP is expected to meet or perhaps surpass the ITU requirements for 4G. As radio interface technologies fast approach the Shannon's bound for information capacity, new capacity enhancement techniques are being explored. This webinar will deal with the next performance leaps in the field of mobile technologies such as advanced topology, multicarrier operation, heterogeneous networks, coordinated transmission, self optimizing networks, cognitive radios, etc. We will explore how the adoption of these techniques impact the user experience and the mobile operator's network performance.

In his 20 years of experience in the telecommunication industry, Anand Alexander has worked in a variety of areas in telecom industry that include Microwave, Satellite, Mobile and Optical Fiber systems. He possesses a Master’s Degree in Telecommunications from the University of Denver and has acquired an in-depth understanding of the telecom market and industry. He has worked with Etisalat and Etisalat Academy, UAE as Engineer, Instructor and Consultant. 

He currently delivers training on EDGE, WCDMA, HSPA, UMTS LTE, WiMAX, Digital Microwave, Satellite and VSAT Systems. He adopts a unified approach in his lectures by reinforcing learning by relating theory to practice. His earlier assignment was in the Indian Engineering Services (IES), as Assistant Director-Telecom, Govt. of India.
