» Why do I get an invalid PIN code message when I try to redeem my PIN code?
Please make sure you are on the correct site. EasyLearning is a worldwide initiative, with numerous sites. All these sites will have a different web address starting with http://campus.easylearning.org/sitename .
PIN codes are generated for specific sites and can only be redeemed on those sites. You will find the site on which your PIN code can be redeemed on the front of the Learning Card. If you do not remember which site your PIN codes can be redeemed on, you can also contact us at support@easylearning.org .
» What is the difference between the online version of a course and the download version? How do I know which one to use?
The EasyLearning courses are available in two versions: The online and the downloadable versions. Both versions are available at all time during the 3-month period and contain the same study material. You can use both versions at any given time.
Online version
Accessing the course online is easy. As soon as you redeem the PIN code, you gain access to the course online. This course can then be launched from the ‘My Account/My Courses' page. The online version of the course is available via the Internet, from any computer that meets the minimum requirements. Remember that you will have to remain connected to the Internet to use the course. You can decide to use the downloadable version of the course at any time.
Download version
For users who prefer to access the course directly from their hard-drive, or for those who have limited access to the Internet, we have created a downloadable version of the course. This version can be downloaded from the ‘Course Launch' page as soon as you have redeemed your PIN code. When you have downloaded the course you can start the installation process, which, after several simple steps, will ask you to enter that same PIN code again to activate the course. Once the course is installed and activated, you can run your course from the computer on which it is installed, without being connected to the Internet. Simply go to Start/Programs/Training and run your course from your computer.
» When I insert the 20-character PIN code, I receive an invalid PIN message. What should I do?
A 1: This error happens when you attempt to redeem a PIN code that has already been redeemed. The PIN code can be used once to get the online course and once for the downloadable version of the course.
Please note that the PIN does not have to be entered every time you try to access the course. Once you have access to the course online, you can simply run it from the 'My Account' page without having to use the PIN code again.
The same happens with the downloadable version of the course. Once the course is downloaded and installed, there is no need to use the PIN code again. You can simply run the course from the shortcut in the Start Menu or on the Desktop.
A 2: Please make sure you remove the dashes when you enter the pin codes.
So ABCDE-ABCDE-ABCDE-ABCDE would become ABCDEABCDEABCDEABCDE.
